MMHF
The goal of the Missouri
Mental Health Foundation (MMHF)
is to educate the public
and change the attitudes about mental health issues
as well
as build hope for individuals and families
dealing with mental
health conditions.
MMHF has a singular focus to raise awareness and understanding to the many issues that impact individuals and families who are living with mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse. The Foundation is dedicated to changing the attitudes of the general population about mental health conditions and eliminating the stigma that surrounds individuals and families.
The Foundation is a 501(c)3 public charity. While the MMHF works closely with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, it is operated separately and has its own Board of Directors and an Executive Director.
